PPLS Teachers
2009-2010
Michelle Mielke, Coordinator
Michelle Mielke earned her M.A. and B.S. degrees in music in piano performance, and has been teaching piano for the past 15 years. She has opened successful private teaching studios in Oregon and Washington, and she has held several offices at the state level of the Music Teachers' National Association, promoting excellence in music teaching and mentoring young teachers. She is actively involved in her church activities, and frequently accompanies the Pullman High School choirs under the direction of her husband, Andrew Mielke. When she isn't working as a pianist, teacher, or administrator, and she has spare time after taking care of her two children, one Sheltie, and husband, she enjoys reading, hiking, cross-stitch needlework, power tools, and playing her accordion.
